About
I have been working in the field for over a decade and provide psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, and children. I have an integrated approach that relies heavily on psychodynamic theory and practice. I have a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from St. Michael’s College and a M.Ed. from Plymouth State University.
I have a broad education that includes an undergraduate degree in Art. The psychotherapy groups offered reflect my passion for the arts, which have always been subject to analysis. The curriculum is designed to encourage thinking, gain insight, and be therapeutic without feeling like a traditional psychotherapy group. I developed the groups while working in an inpatient setting with co-occurring disorders. They have since been modified to be run in an outpatient setting.
I have 4400+ hours in an ongoing personal analysis. This experience has deeply enriched my life. I know the value of this work on many levels. I have also provided trainings on psychoanalytic topics at conferences and to professionals in the Vermont corrections department.
I am trained in play therapy and have worked with all populations in outpatient treatment. I am the former director of an inpatient program for women with co-occurring disorders. I provide individual, group, family, and couples counseling services. I am also available for psychodynamic supervision, consultation, and trainings.
